March 8 – International Women’s Day

The holiday of March 8 – International Women’s Day is widely celebrated in the units of “Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company” Joint-Stock Company. At the solemn events, the work of the women of the company and their contribution to the development of the enterprise are celebrated, the leaders of the industry are adequately encouraged.

On March 7, there was held a festive event for women, operating at “Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company” Joint-Stock Company, “Navoiyuran” State Enterprise, “NMMC Fund” State Organization, at the Palace of Culture “Farhad” in Navoi city. At the celebration, chairman of the Management Board – director general of “NMMC” JSC K. Sanakulov sincerely congratulated the women of the enterprise on the holiday.

In the holiday greetings, it was noted that today more than 6 thousand women and girls work with dignity at “NMMC” JSC, among which 33 are holders of high state awards. It was especially noted that in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On awarding in connection with International Women’s Day – March 8” dated March 5, 2022, the crane operator of  Northern mining administration Bashorat Tursunova was awarded the order “Mehnat Shuhrati”.

At the event, a group of women was awarded the title of “NMMC’s Veteran” and certificates of honor.

The concert program, presented by the creative teams and performers of the Palace of Culture “Farhad”, presented the participants of the event with festive congratulations.
