In 2021, Daugyztau mine made a record mining result

On March 1 of this year, it will be 20 years since the start of the development of Daugyztau mine in Northern mining administration of “NMMC” JSC. About 500 employees work at the mine, from which gold ore is supplied to Hydrometallurgical plant-3.

In recent years, as part of the implementation of investment projects, the mine has mastered modern mining equipment and technologies. Last year, Hitachi EX-1200 excavator with a capacity of 6 cubic meters was delivered. This mining equipment ships 8,000 cubic meters of rock mass per day to dump trucks. At the same time, production capacity has been increased by extending the cyclic flow technology conveyor by 200 meters. At the same time, the total length of the conveyor reached 1,650 meters, which makes it possible to shorten the path of dump trucks and save fuel.

In 2021, a record mining result was recorded since the start of the development of the mine. More than 33 million cubic meters of rock mass have been mined at Daugyztau and Magribkon quarries. To date, the mine team has delivered more than 216 million tons of ore to HMP-3.
