Navoi branch of the Council of veterans of the mining and metallurgical industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan was established

In accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 20, 2021, for the first time in the history of the industry, the Council of veterans of the mining and metallurgical industry and its territorial branches were formed.

Today, there was held hosted a meeting dedicated to the implementation of this resolution at the Head Office of “Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company” JSC, at which the chairman of the Management Board – General Director Kuvandik Sanakulov, chairman the Council of veterans of the mining and metallurgical industry Alexander Farmanov made speeches.

As noted, the main tasks of this Council and its territorial branches include meeting spiritual needs, ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of veterans of the mining and metallurgical industry, their dignified life and social status in society, increasing the role and importance of the organization of the Council, each veteran in the life of labor collectives of JSC and other enterprises of the mining and metallurgical industry of the republic, assistance in the development and implementation of practical measures to improve the social and material well-being of veterans, provide them with household, medical, cultural and other types of services, assistance in the development of proposals on the further strengthening of social protection measures for veterans, the organization of spiritual, educational, cultural, as well as sports events with the participation of veterans, meetings with youth.

The meeting approved the proposal to appoint Nishon Muhammatovich Esirgapov as the head of Navoi branch of the Council of veterans of the mining and metallurgical industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
