The national project “Yashil makon” (“Green space”) is being widely continued in NMMC’s units

There are rapidly continuing the “Urgent 40 days” events in all corners of the country, in order to expand green spaces, improve the ecological situation and improve air purity, within the framework of the national project “Yashil makon” (“Green space”) put forward by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In order to make a worthy contribution to the national project “Yashil makon” (“Green space”), NMMC has begun large-scale practical work on planting seedlings of fruit and ornamental trees. Such good deeds continued on November 20-21 of this year in Navoi, Zarafshan, Uchkuduk, Nurabad towns, in Zafarabad, Zarkent, Marjanbulak townships, in the territories where NMMC’s units are located.

There were planted tens of thousands of seedlings, such fruit and ornamental trees as mulberry, elm, saxaul, elm, dzhida, ash, paulownia outside these towns and townships, in all structural NMMC’s units, on vacant areas adjacent to production, social and auxiliary buildings. Workers, engineers and young people from NMMC’s units, as well as representatives of territorial departments of the State Organisation “NMMC Fund” actively participated in this.

During the planting process, special attention is paid to the soil and climatic conditions of the region. Considering the care of seedlings using drip irrigation technology, decorative and fruit trees were selected, which do not require excess water.
