Representatives of International Consulting Firms Visit Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company

Representatives of leading international consulting firms Rothschild & Co, KPMG, and the investment company UzAssets JSC met with the leadership of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company (NMMC) at its headquarters.

The meeting aimed to explore potential areas of collaboration and provide the visitors with a comprehensive overview of NMMC’s core activities.

During the discussion, NMMC’s Chairman of the Management Board and General Director, K. Sanakulov, shared the company’s rich history and outlined its development over recent years. He emphasized that NMMC is undergoing a large-scale transformation to enhance transparency and align its operations with global best practices and standards.

Mr. Sanakulov also highlighted that NMMC remains focused on achieving its strategic objectives by implementing projects to maintain and expand production capacity while deepening its integration into the global market.

Arielle Malard de Rothschild, Partner at Rothschild & Co, expressed strong interest in collaborating with NMMC. She noted that the company’s long-standing history, substantial resource base, stable production growth, low cost of production, and significant contributions to the development of the green economy are key factors in shaping a compelling investment story for NMMC.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on key topics and the establishment of a plan for further engagement.

As part of their visit, representatives from Rothschild & Co, KPMG, and UzAssets JSC toured NMMC’s Navoi Machine-Building Plant, where they gained detailed insights into the company’s operations.
