An important part of the organizational development and performance management of JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company is continuous work to improve the competencies of all levels of positions, personnel development with the introduction of modern digital solutions and best global practices.
In order to ensure the set goals, a new training format – distance e-learning system has been launched in the personnel development system at the Company since June 2024. The relevance of the introduction of the e-learning system is timely and necessary for the multithousands employees of the Company.
E-learning system is a set of training tools in the form of electronic courses, which allows organizing the transfer of knowledge in a remote format. The purpose of introducing distance learning is to improve the level and culture of personnel self-education, increase the quantitative coverage of training program participants of all levels and positions, as well as the possibility to improve competencies in a flexible training schedule. E-learning system provides also interactive learning tools in the form of audio and video materials, which allows to master the course topic more effectively with the possibility of independent verification of knowledge on the passed materials.
The first 12 courses were developed based on the needs and specifics of NMMC's business processes:
“Analyzing the production efficiency of gold mining enterprises”
Complex training modular program: “Safety rules for the development of mineral deposits by open pit mining.
“Compliance course on anti-corruption”.
“Time Management”.
“Change Management”.
“Leadership”.
"Building an effective team. (Efficient teamwork)".
The courses are available in Uzbek, Russian languages.
The distance learning system is planned to be widely implemented throughout the entire personnel training system of the Company.
