The delegation of Navoi Gold took part in the III Tashkent International Investment Forum

On 2-3 May, Tashkent hosted the III International Investment Forum, where more than two and a half thousand foreign guests from 93 countries arrived to participate. President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev made a welcome greeting at the opening of the event.

International investors were offered a number of specific initiatives aimed at strengthening the protection of their rights, including amendments to the law adopt the new Law "On Investments", the opening of the International Commercial Court at the International Centre for Digital Technologies, reforming the financial and banking sector to develop instruments of international financing. The importance of developing the mineral and strategic raw materials base of the Republic of Uzbekistan was also noted during the Forum. In this regard, on the basis of modern international experience, a new version of the law ‘On Subsoil’ is expected to be adopted. Special attention was also paid to the role of digital transformation and development of transport infrastructure.

In total, over 40 plenary sessions on various topics were held during the Investment Forum.

Representatives of Navoi Gold, in particular the First Deputy General Director for Transformation E. Antonov spoke at the session: “ESG: new approaches to sustainable business and investments”. In addition, the delegation of the Company held a number of bilateral meetings with representatives of international financial institutions and potential investors.
