Results of 2023: implementation of the Investment program
As part of the Investment Program for 2023, construction and installation work was completed on 11 projects at JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company.
A number of production facilities were put into operation in 2023. In particular:
1. Project for the construction of a complex for the extraction and processing of gold ores at the Pistali deposit (HMP-6);
2. Project for power supply of industrial facilities associated with the project for the construction of a complex for the extraction and processing of gold ores at the Pistali deposit (HMP-6);
3. Project for the construction and reconstruction of network facilities for external power supply of the Pistali deposit and Nurata district;
4. Project for the construction of a mining quarry based on the Balpantau and Tamdybulak deposits;
5. Project to expand production and processing capacities for the development of the Turbay deposit.
As part of the largest investment project of them, Hydrometallurgical Plant №6 for processing 4 million tons of gold ore per year was launched on the basis of the Pistali deposit in Nurata district of Navoi region. These results made it possible to increase the volume of gold production at the enterprise compared to previous years.
In 2023, as part of increasing the production capacity of Navoi Machine-Building Plant, a new building of the Mechanical Assembly Unit was built and modern high-performance machines were launched, and also a modern metal smelting furnace with a capacity of 25 tons was put into operation in the Foundry Unit.
Besides, a unified situational production control center was launched at Hydrometallurgical plant №2, the crushing and screening complex was launched at the Muruntau chalk-stone deposit.
For the first time in the history of the company, 82.6 km of new railway lines were built connecting the Turbay, Balpantau and Tamdybulak deposits with hydrometallurgical plants.
