A dormitory and canteen were built for workers

The Adzhibugut quarry is located 200 kilometers from Uchkuduk. Currently, miners, machinists, geologists, drillers and representatives of other professions work day and night in this quarry.

Creating the necessary working and living conditions for workers is the focus of attention of the management and council of the trade union of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company. A dormitory for 100 people was built as a worthy gift for them. Until recently, workers traveled a distance of 60 kilometers from the Daugyztau mine to this quarry. This created difficulties for them, who had to spend some time on the road after work. The management of the company found an acceptable and simple solution to the problem. A dormitory with comfortable conditions was built and put into operation on the territory of the quarry. Also, together with the dormitory with all the amenities for quarry workers, a modern canteen with 50 seats was built.

This allowed not only to create decent conditions for workers, but also to save time, transportation costs and fuel and lubricants. The construction of the dormitory was carried out by units of Northern Mining Administration. The dormitory also has a medical department, a locker room, a shower and drying room, a hall, a summer veranda, a library. These amenities allow workers to fully relax.
