The company trains women from “Sarimoy” makhalla in professions

JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company, being a socially responsible company, actively participates in the socio-economic development of the regions.

To this purpose, the company pays special attention to providing employment for the population through the creation of new enterprises and additional jobs. In 2021, there was launched the welding and mechanical site for 40 jobs in “Sarimoy” makhalla in Tuprakkala district of Khorezm region.

By the initiative of the company, the number of jobs at the site was increased by another 40. At present, on the recommendation of the khokimiyat of Tuprakkala district, 20 representatives of youth, women and low-income families, members of the Youth Notebook, Women's Notebook and Iron Notebook, are trained to work in these places. At the same time, they undergo a three-month training program at the Training Center of JSC NMMC in Zarafshan city and practice at the Central mechanical repair department of the Central Mining Administration. Future owners of professions at the expense of the company are provided with special work clothes, protective equipment and monthly wages during practice.

This good initiative is proof that the company is applying a systematic approach to increasing production volumes, and most importantly, to social protection of the unemployed population.
