On May 13, 2022, there was held a celebration dedicated to the Day of mining and metallurgical industry employees of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the Palace of culture “Farkhad” in Navoi city.

The celebration was attended by representatives of various professions working at “Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company” Joint-Stock Company, “Navoiyuran” State Enterprise, “NMMC Fund” State Organization. chairman of the Management Board – director general of “NMMC” JSC Kuvandik Sanakulov sincerely congratulated the staff of enterprises on their professional holiday.

As noted at the event, in recent years, the company has put into operation a new high-tech complex at Hydrometallurgical plant-3, Hydrometallurgical plants-5 and 7, block "B" at Hydrometallurgical plant-2, the Balpantau and Tamdybulak deposits were discovered as part of the Muruntau mine, new lines and facilities were introduced in a number of mines. For the second time in a row Kitco (Canada) recognized Muruntau as the world's largest gold mine.

For many years of conscientious work, a worthy contribution to the development of the industry and in connection with the professional holiday, a group of employees of “NMMC” JSC, “Navoiyuran” SE, “NMMC Fund” SO was awarded the mining glory badges of I, II and III degrees.
