There was held a press conference on the results of the activities of “NMMC” JSC for 2021

On April 19, 2022, there was held a press conference for representatives of the media and journalists on the results of the activities of “Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company” Joint Stock Company for 2021 at the museum “NMMC’s history” in Navoi city.

Deputy general director for personnel and administrative issues, member of the Management Board of “NMMC” JSC Kurbanmurat Taparov, head of budgeting and controlling department Umidjon Kostaev, director for public relations Kholmamat Raupov participated in the press conference.

Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company plays an important role in the economy of Uzbekistan. In recent years, the company has been implementing large investment projects. Within these projects in 2021, Hydrometallurgical plant-7 was put into operation, building “B” was launched at Hydrometallurgical plant-2, which processes 12 million tons of ore per year.

Noted that in 2021 the share of “NMMC” JSC in production of industrial products of the republic exceeded 13%, total share of revenues to the state budget about 20%, the company took 5th place in the ranking of world gold producing companies.

In 2021, “NMMC” JSC produced products worth 51,2 trillion soums. By the Investment program, funds for $ 604,5 million were spent, 3 371 new work places were created. Within the framework of the Localization program, localized products worth 430,4 billion soums were produced, products worth near 4 trillion soums were purchased through intersectoral industrial cooperation. As a result of the implementation of a set of measures to reduce the cost of production, the cost of production was reduced by 1 trillion soums or 7.3%.
