Implementation of the State Program is ensured

In the State Program for the Implementation of the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 in 2022 – “Year of ensuring human interests and development of the mahalla”, “Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company” Joint-Stock Company is entrusted with a number of tasks.

In particular, paragraph 76.3 of the State Program outlines the development of a program for establishing environmental requirements and environmental protection standards in the mining and metallurgical industry based on international standards, a program to ensure that environmental requirements for emissions in mining operations are not exceeded based on the best international experience in implementing an environmental management system. In March of this year, “NMMC” JSC in cooperation with the Ministry of economic development and poverty reduction, “AMMC” JSC, the State committee for ecology submitted a draft of the relevant resolution to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Also, paragraph 109 of the State Program provides for the creation by  “NMMC” JSC “Business support center” in Navoi city and training entrepreneurs in doing business. Together with the khokimiyat of Navoi region and the Ministry of investments and foreign trade a draft government decree on the establishment of this “Business support center” with relevant proposals was developed and submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
