Details of the republican media forum

On March 25-30, 2022, the Republican media forum on the topic "National journalism: continuity of traditions and modernity" is being held, organized by the Creative Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan in cooperation with "Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company" Joint-Stock Company.

On the first day of the republican media forum the editors of the editorial offices of the Navoi region were awarded certificates for the free installation of the Yurida-Orfo computer program at the "NMMC History" museum in Navoi city, and information was also heard about the work done by the chairmen of the Ferghana and Andijan regional branches of the Creative Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan.

On the second day of the media forum, there was held a solemn opening ceremony at Navoi State Mining Institute. The event was attended by guests of the forum - chairman of the Creative Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan Olimjon Usarov, rector of the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan Sherzodkhon Kudrathuzha, deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Rasul Kusherbaev. Also on this day, there was organized a press tour for the forum participants to Navoi Machine-Building Plant of "NMMC" JSC. During press tour, they visited the technopark of Navoi State Mining Institute and units of the plant, where they got acquainted in detail with the work processes carried out at the enterprise and practical work to increase production capacity.

On the third day of the media forum honored journalist of Uzbekistan Akhmadjon Meliboev, rector of the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan Sherzodkhon Kudrathuzha, deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Rasul Kusherbaev, editor-in-chief of the newspapers "Ishonch" and "Ishonch-Doverie" Khusan Ermatov held master classes for the participants of the event at the media center at the Youth Center of Navoi city. On the same day, candidates from Navoi region were awarded certificates of membership in the Creative Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan. Among those who became a member of the Union, there are also representatives of "NMMC" JSC - the editor and correspondent of the newspaper "Konchilar hayoti" Nizomiddin Sadriddinov and Azamat Zaripov.

Today, on March 28, on the fourth day of the republican media forum, its participants are scheduled to hold press tours to Hydrometallurgical plant-5, the Muruntau mine and Hydrometallurgical plant-7 in Central mining administration.
