An international scientific-practical conference is being held in Navoi city

Today, there was began IV traditional international scientific-practical conference on the theme “The role of the creative heritage of Alisher Navoi in the spiritual and educational development of humanity” in Navoi city, dedicated to the 580th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and statesman Alisher Navoi.

At the beginning, there was held a flower-laying ceremony at the foot of the monument to Alisher Navoi in A. Navoi park of culture and leisure with the participation of Navoi scientists from the USA, Canada, Albania, Turkey, Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Tatarstan, as well as well-known academicians and professors of the republic, an asset of the region, representatives of the public, enterprises, institutions and organizations. Representatives of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company also took part in it.

General Director of NMMC K. Sanakulov spoke at the plenary session of this international scientific-practical conference, who expressed his opinion about life and work, invaluable heritage, the significance of A. Navoi’s works for humanity.

Also, the participants of the event were presented with copies of a book titled "uyoshliқ istasang kasbi kamol et ...", published by NMMC in honor of this significant date.

Also, within the framework of the conference, it is planned to hold 7 breakout sessions, a press conference and a concert program on the works of the great thinker.
