NMMC will build Hydrometallurgical plant-6

On September 10, 2021, a resolution the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted the decree "On approval of the feasibility study of the investment project "Construction of a complex for the extraction and processing of gold-bearing ores at the Pistali deposit (HMP-6)".

In accordance with this decree, the total cost of the investment project will amount to $ 274 million 668.9 thousand. This production facility, Hydrometallurgical plant-6, will be put into operation in December 2024 in  Nurata district of  Navoi region. As a result, Navoi mining and metallurgical combinat will create additional capacities for the extraction of 4 million tons of gold ore per year.

This investment project is being implemented at the expense of NMMC and loans from foreign banks.
