Presentation of new books took place

On September 11, there was a presentation of books in honor of the 30th anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan within the framework of the project "30 books from Navoi region to the 30th anniversary of independence" took place in the Palace of culture "Farhad" in Navoi city.

The event was attended by representatives of khokimiyats, NMMC, spirituality, the general public, youth, writers and poets, publishers and journalists.

The khokim of Navoi region K. Tursunov, the general director of Navoi mining and metallurgical combinat K. Sanakulov and others spoke at the presentation. They talked about the opportunities that independence gave, the changes in the new Uzbekistan, the importance of books in human life.

As noted, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of state independence, khokimiyats of region, districts and cities, large industrial enterprises, including the Navoi mining and metallurgical combinat, published books, book-albums and collections highlighting the results of reforms in all areas.

There were presented a book and a book-album about the new history, activities, successes and achievements of Navoi mining and metallurgical combinat at the presentation.

Also, a group of specialists and creatives who made a worthy contribution to the preparation and publication of 30 new books were awarded valuable gifts.

The songs performed by soloists of the Palace of culture "Farhad" gave the participants of the event a festive mood.
