Equipment for oxidation of ore bearing layer (packer)

The equipment implemented for oxidation of ore bearing layer in NMMC Mining Board No.5 underground leaching (UL) areas.

Task of the invention – air pressure supply into well for oxidation of the ore layer, at a pressure of 1.0 - 5.0 MPa (10.0 - 50.0 atm.).

Character of the invention: equipment is presented a packer, fixedly attached on tube which is mounted in well, cased by PVC tubes with an internal diameter of ≤ 74 mm. It contains upper and lower metal thrust rings and brace - insulating seal.

The positive result of the invention is the possibility of the ore layers oxidation with high pressure of ground waters on the roof of ore bearing layer, which will be allow to involve in refining a number of early out of operation uranium deposits.

Manufacturing technology patented by Republic of Uzbekistan №IAP 04950 UZ. There is a “know how” for this technology. Technology transfer is possible only on licensing agreement.
