The Company employees celebrated the Day of Mining and Metals industry employees

On May 18, there was held a celebration dedicated to the Day of Mining and Metals industry employees of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Navoi city. Representatives of various professions working at JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company, SE “Navoiyuran”, SO “NMMC Fund”, as well as labor veterans and pensioners participated in the celebration.

At the celebration, a congratulation from the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, sent to the staff of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company in honor of the professional holiday, was read out.

The khokim of Navoi region N. Tursunov participated at the event, who congratulated the industry employees who make a worthy contribution to strengthening the economic power of Uzbekistan on their professional holiday.

Chairman of the Management Board – Director General of JSC NMMC K. Sanakulov congratulated the teams of enterprises and veterans on their professional holiday, noted the work and achievements of industry representatives.

As noted at the event, the Company’s development program until 2026 will be completed this year two years ahead of schedule, and gold production volume will be increased by 32%. Over the past year, there were put into operation Hydrometallurgical Plant №6 with a capacity of processing 4 million tons of ore per year on the basis of the Pistali mine in Nurata district of Navoi region and a workshop for the production of modern mills at Navoi Machine-Building Plant. In 2024, 2 new milling units with a processing capacity of 2 million tons of ore per year are being built at Hydrometallurgical Plant №3. In four months of this year, products worth 27 trillion soums were produced, the established plans were exceeded.

Recently, a program for the sustainable development of the Company for 2024-2030 was approved. This program outlines the task of increasing the production volume of the Company by 37% in the future.

On the occasion of the professional holiday, a group of industry leaders were awarded diplomas from the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the khokimiyat of Navoi region. Also, for many years of conscientious work, worthy contribution to the development of the industry and in honor of the professional holiday, a group of employees of the Company was awarded the mining glory badges.
