The national project “Yashil Makon” is being implemented

As part of the national project “Yashil Makon”, implemented in all corners of Uzbekistan to expand green spaces, improve the environmental situation and clean air, a month of landscaping work has been announced at JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company from March 12 to April 12, 2024.

In particular, landscaping work was carried out on the territory of the Pistali mine, Hydrometallurgical Plant №6 in Nurata district of Navoi region as part of the national charity hashar held on March 16-18 and the national project “Yashil Makon”.

Through the efforts of more than 300 employees of units of the Navoi industrial site, more than 10 thousand seedlings of trees and shrubs suitable for desert conditions were planted. It is important to note that thereby a “Green Belt” was created here in order to protect the environment.
