Results of 2023: personnel training and improving qualifications

JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company uses a systematic approach to training, teaching, retraining and improving skills of personnel. In particular, there are 5 training centers of the company in Navoi, Zarafshan, Uchkuduk, Nurabad cities and Zarkent town which specialize in training highly qualified personnel.

To date, the number of employees of the company is more than 47.5 thousand people, of which 12.3 thousand are young people under 30 years old, 11.8 thousand are employees with higher education, 6.2 thousand are women.

In 2023, to train and retrain the personnel 15 048 employees were trained. Of these, about 5 305 workers were retrained and 6 902 workers improved their skills at the company’s training centers. At the same time, 2 841 managers and engineering and technical employees improved their qualifications at republican universities, domestic and foreign training centers.

In order to create a new system of vocational training for the population and training of mid-level specialists, the Monocenter was opened in Navoi city with the support of NMMC. In 2023, 448 people who were trained at this Monocenter, they were hired after completing internships in the units of the company.

The material and technical base of the company’s training centers is being strengthened. In recent years, training centers have been equipped with modern training equipment.

The work carried out at the company for the training of engineering personnel is proof that employees are the main wealth of the enterprise.
