Idea generation session at the Eastern mine

An idea generation session was held at the Eastern mine as part of Navoi Gold ongoing Transformation Program. The session, which aimed to enhance the Eastern mine's annual planning process, involved Navoi Gold and Boston Consulting Group (BCG) specialists.

During the session, participants discussed global best practices in annual planning and identified opportunities to improve the current process at the Eastern mine. Multi-functional teams comprising experts in geology, mine planning, technology transport fleet, and dispatching services developed 30+ ideas for optimizing the mining planning process in the following areas:

• goal setting
• geological conditions
• operational planning
• digital tools

These ideas were then prioritized using an "impact vs. implementation complexity" prioritization matrix.

The session results will become the foundation for implementing quick wins and systemic initiatives to enhance the annual planning process in Northern Mining Administration of Navoi Gold.
