Specialists of NMMC and BCG visited the enterprise in Kazakhstan

Joint team from NMMC (Navoi Mining and Metal Company/Navoi Gold) and Boston Consulting Group (BCG) visited Kazakhmys Corporation’s Zhezkazgan processing plant in the Republic of Kazakhstan on November 15-16 as a part of Navoi Gold ongoing transformation.

During the visit, Zhezkazgan processing plant technologists have demonstrated modern classification equipment and flotation automation systems: automated pump-hydrocyclone units (APHU), ionometric slurry analysis and reagent feeding systems, flotation process control systems.

Navoi Gold specialists had the opportunity to study the functioning systems and equipment and gauge their effectiveness for implementation at Hydrometallurgical Plant No. 3.
