The Company participates in the 5th Uzbekistan International Mining & Metals Forum

The forum is being held in Tashkent as part of the 17th International Exhibition "Mining, Metallurgy and Metal Processing – Mining & Metals Uzbekistan 2023".

Both the forum and the exhibition are significant industry events, bringing together representatives and leaders of mining and metallurgical enterprises, relevant ministries, foreign investors, and industry experts from both Uzbekistan and the CIS countries and beyond.

This year Navoi Gold acts as the general partner of the Forum.

On November 1, 2023, a special panel discussion was held following the general theme "Navoi Gold: New Challenges, New Horizons." Speakers at the session included First Deputy CEO for Transformation, Evgeniy Antonov; Director of Resources, Lyubov Egorova; Head of the Production Automation Department, Vokhidzhon Pulatov; Head of Organizational Development in the Transformation Project Office, Ra'no Kosimova; and the Chair of the Women's Council, Sabokhat Nazarova.

The session discussed:

- new challenges the company faces

- the importance and relevance of transformation

- prospects for the development of the company's mineral resource base

- implementation of digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency

- promotion of women's leadership and the significance of women's role in the future of mining.
