Important investment project is being implemented

To date, JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company is implementing large investment projects aimed at expanding mining and processing capacities.

In particular, in 2022, there was started the extraction of gold ore for the development of the Balpantau deposit in Tamdy district of Navoi region. Within the framework of this project, it is planned to mine more than 1 million tons of gold ore per year at the deposit.

Since then, about 6,5 million cubic meters of rock mass have been mined at the Balpantau deposit, about 1,3 million tons of gold ore have been transported by rail to Hydrometallurgical Plant №2 for processing. At the moment, modern mining equipment, such as excavator, dump trucks, drilling rig, front loaders, is widely used in mining operations at the deposit.

Such promising projects serve both the development of the company and the increase in the production of precious metals.
