Operational Efficiency Workshop with Boston Consulting Group
On September 26th, the Hydrometallurgical Plant №3 hosted an operational efficiency improvement workshop supported by Boston Consulting Group, a leading global consultancy. The workshop is part of the ongoing NMMC Transformation Program.
The workshop, facilitated by BCG, served as a platform for a frank and substantive discussion that included HMP-3 management and technical leadership. It was designed to review, and discuss with HMP-3, measures aimed at unit cost reduction. Its goal was also to align on steps to further develop the measures and prepare for their implementation.
The discussion included review of initiatives in all key production steps (charging, grinding, flotation, BIOX, sorption and roasting). Areas for further investigation with international experts were also defined. Certain priority initiatives and potential quick wins were singled out for implementation already in 2023.
The operational efficiency improvement program is an integral part of NMMC Transformation and will continue to include collaboration with top global experts to ensure the achievement of overall transformation objectives.
