A meeting with representatives of KDB Bank Uzbekistan was held

On September 21th, there was held a meeting between the management of the company and representatives of KDB Bank Uzbekistan at the Office of NMMC.

Bilateral negotiations took place as part of the meeting. During the negotiations, issues of establishing mutual cooperation, including bank financing of investment projects of NMMC, were discussed. During the conversation, representatives of the company spoke about the transformation and projects for the digitalization of production currently being implemented in the enterprise’s activities.

As a result of the negotiations, representatives of KDB Bank Uzbekistan expressed interest in cooperation with NMMC and readiness to provide a 2-year revolving first line of credit in the amount of $17.5 million for the financial needs of the company.

Also, in order to get acquainted with the history of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company, representatives of a foreign bank visited the “History of NMMC” museum in Navoi city. In the museum they got acquainted with exhibits, historical artifacts testifying to the ancient history of the Kyzylkum region, as well as models of hydrometallurgical plants of the company, the Muruntau mine, and mining equipment.

 

For information, KDB Bank Uzbekistan was founded in 1997 and, being a subsidiary of KDB Bank (South Korea, Korean Development Bank), is the largest international bank in Uzbekistan. The bank's activities are aimed at providing corporate and investment services for business development.
