NMMC is one of the world’s largest gold mining companies

Kitco (Canada) reported the world’s Top 10 largest gold mining companies by production in H1 2023. According to this list, Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company took 5th place and became one of the world leaders in gold production.

As noted in the information, the company produced 1,425 koz of gold in H1 2023, up 2.1% from H1 2022. It was also noted that the Muruntau mine, which is one of the largest gold mines in the world, operates by NMMC.
