The plant built on the expanses of Kyzylkum

Hydrometallurgical Plant №5, located on the expanses of Kyzylkum, is one of the large industrial enterprises built by Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company in recent years.

The plant, which was put into operation in 2021 on the basis of the Auminzo-Amantoy mine, processes 5 million tons of sulphide and oxide ore per year. The uniqueness of this plant is that it has introduced a new technology, that is, the extraction of gold is carried out on the basis of oxygen-lime oxidation. Technological processes at the plant are fully automated.

The skills and experience of employees, specialists and managers are of great importance in the timely implementation of established plans. At present, about 1 200 employees work at Hydrometallurgical Plant №5. The enterprise’s staff consists mainly of young people under the age of 30.
