The institution that gave hope to parents

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company, being a socially responsible company, actively participates in the development of the infrastructure of the Kyzylkum region.

In recent years, a lot of creative work has been carried out at the expense of the company in Zarafshan city, modern social facilities have been built. The multidisciplinary specialized preschool educational organization with the rehabilitation center “Umid”, built by the company on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, began work on June 22th, 2022. In a short time, this specialized institution has become a place for children with disabilities, which has brought joy and hope to many families and parents.

This preschool educational organization has become an example of real care for children. It is intended for treatment, rehabilitation and education in six groups of children aged two to seven years with disorders of the musculoskeletal system, disabilities and various diagnoses. Currently, 78 children are being rehabilitated there. For them there are training and treatment rooms, living quarters, a canteen, special sports grounds, an amphitheater, the necessary equipment and furniture.

In the past short period of time, the great achievement of this institution was that 22 children returned to a healthy life.

“Children from Zarafshan city, Uchkuduk and Tamdy districts were admitted to our educational institution,” said Dilafruz Faizieva, head of the organization. - In six groups, defectologists, deaf teachers, psychologists, physiotherapists, pediatricians, otolaryngologists, neuropathologists are involved in the process of practical classes, procedures and physiotherapy exercises for 10.5 hours. The first to be cured were four children who initially had disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Now they walk among their peers without anyone's support. In addition, eight of our pupils fully recovered and were transferred to kindergartens. Six children who underwent rehabilitation in a similar way returned to their parents. They will go to study in the 1st grade from the new academic year. Also, four children with more than two diseases underwent rehabilitation. As a result, 22 children returned to the ranks of their peers. We are currently working on bringing joy to many other families.

It should be noted that work in this direction will be systematically continued. This is proof that in Uzbekistan special attention is paid to human dignity and that no one is left without the attention of the state.
