The representatives of the company participated in the international conference

On June 21th, in Tashkent city, the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the World Bank and the Ministry of Economy and Finance held the Mining and Metall Industry Development Conference.

The representatives of governments of foreign countries, leading enterprises in the mining industry, representatives of international financial institutions and investors participated at this international conference.

The conference included panel sessions in such areas as “Geological exploration and integration”, “Legislation, environment, social and corporate governance (ESG) and sustainability”, “Trends in the mining industry” and “From mining to green energy”.

Representatives of JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company took part in the discussions of the panel sessions. In particular, in the panel session of the conference in the direction of “Trends in the mining industry”, first deputy General Director, Chief Transformation Officer, member of the Management Board Evgene Antonov made a report on the development strategy of the company until 2030. Also at the panel session in the direction of “Geological exploration and integration”, the Head of JSC NMMC department Mirzo Isayev spoke on the topic of the exploration strategy of the company.

In the speeches of the representatives of the company, the issues of large-scale transformation of the company, management of mineral resources in accordance with international requirements and standards, increasing the efficiency of production and auxiliary processes using digital solutions were discussed.
