The geological service is expanding

Today, the exploration of gold ore deposits is carried out using modern methods, equipment and technologies at Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company.

In particular, geologists have fully studied the veins of minerals at a depth of up to 500 meters below ground level at the Vostochny mine of the Northern Mine Administration of JSC NMMC. Due to the accelerated mining of sulphide ores at the Vostochny and Daugyztau mines, it was quite difficult to separate the mined sulphide ores into types.

In this regard, geologists together with specialists of IT Center of the Northern Mining Administration have developed a new electronic program. This made it possible to timely receive the results of the analysis of each sample from the Central Laboratory of Gamma-Activated Analysis of the Central Mining Administration.

Also, there was put into operation an ore control station at the Vostochny and Daugyztau mines, which meets international standards and is the only one in Uzbekistan. This station is used by geologists for the qualitative separation of ore.
