There was held a celebration of the Day of mining and metallurgical industry’s employees in Navoi city

On May 19th, there was held a celebration dedicated to the Day of mining and metallurgical industry’s employees of the Republic of Uzbekistan at the Palace of culture “Farkhad” in Navoi city.

Representatives of various professions working at JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company, SE “Navoiyuran”, SO “NMMC Fund” participated in the celebration. Chairman of the Management Board – director general JSC NMMC K. Sanakulov sincerely congratulated the employees of enterprises on their professional holiday.

The khokim of Navoi region N. Tursunov, a member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan F. Toshev, the khokim of Kushrabot district D. Shakarboev participated at the event, who congratulated the industry employees on their professional holiday.

As noted at the event, in recent years, the company has put into operation Hydrometallurgical plants №5 and 7, block "B" at Hydrometallurgical plant №2, new deposits were discovered, new lines and facilities were introduced in a number of mines. In the near future, it is planned to launch a new enterprise - Hydrometallurgical plant №6. Starting with the design of new plants, the company also produces the most complex equipment, for example, mills for hydrometallurgical plants. Also, through the efforts of experienced specialists of the Zarafshan Construction Department and the railway workers of the company, the construction of a 52-kilometer railway line was completed, which connects the Turbay deposit with hydrometallurgical plants.

On the occasion of the professional holiday, a group of industry leaders were awarded diplomas of the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan. For many years of conscientious work, a worthy contribution to the development of the industry and in connection with the professional holiday, a group of employees of JSC NMMC, SO “NMMC Fund” was awarded the mining glory badges of I, II and III degrees.
