A festive event dedicated to International Women's Day was held

JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company, being a socially responsible company, pays great attention to supporting women working at the enterprise, encouraging the skills of talented, enterprising women.

March 8th – International Women’s Day is widely celebrated in the units of the company. The work of the women of the company and their contribution to the development of the enterprise are celebrated, the leaders of the industry are adequately encouraged at the events.

On March 7th, there was held a festive event for women who work at JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company, “Navoiyuran” State Enterprise, “NMMC Fund” State Organization, at the Palace of Culture “Farhad” in Navoi city. At the celebration, chairman of the Management Board – director general of JSC NMMC K. Sanakulov sincerely congratulated the women of the enterprises on the holiday.  

In the holiday greetings, it was noted that today more than 6 thousand women work at JSC NMMC, among which 35 are holders of high state awards. It was especially noted that in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 6th, 2023, the machinist of the Forge and press unit of Navoi Machine-Building Plant Zulfiya Akhmedova was awarded the order “Mehnat Shuhrati”. Also Zulfiya Akhmedova was awarded the badge “Mutabar ayol”.

A group of women was awarded the badge “NMMC’s Veteran” and at the event.

The concert program, presented by the creative teams and performers of the Palace of Culture “Farhad”, presented the participants of the event with festive mood.
