Hydrometallurgical plant №6 under construction will be fully automated

As part of the “Digital Uzbekistan – 2030” strategy, “NMMC’s Digital Transformation Program for 2020-2022” was developed. Under this program, the Production Automation Department of JSC NMMC implemented 27 projects to introduce digital technologies into the production processes of the company.

In particular, in 2022, within the framework of the implemented project “Intelligent control system for metallurgical technological processes” automated intelligent control systems were introduced at operational dispatch centers of Hydrometallurgical plants №5, 7.

  

Also in the current year, the Production Automation Department continues to work on the implementation of an automated process control system (SCADA) in the mill block №1 of Hydrometallurgical plant №6.

Within the framework of the project, work will be carried out on digitalization systems for technological processes, preparation of automation boards, software, as well as installation and commissioning of equipment. To date, digitalization works worth 6.5 billion soums have been completed. In particular, on the basis of the regulation of hydrometallurgical technological processes, intellectual programs were created, 12 automation boards and 579 electrical cabinets were produced.

Hydrometallurgical plant №6 which is being built on the basis of the Pistali deposit in Nurata district, will be transferred to a fully automated control system with the participation of the company’s specialists. This, in turn, along with ensuring high production efficiency, serves to reduce the human factor.
