The share of "green energy" is gradually increasing

Every year the volume of electricity received from renewable energy sources is increasing in Joint Stock Company Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company. Technologies of "green energy", which ensure the generation of energy at enterprises in addition to existing energy sources, have great importance for the company.

To date, the company operates solar photoelectric power stations with a capacity of 250 kW. This year, in order to obtain the necessary electricity from solar energy sources, it is planned to implement four projects that will generate 1 200 kW of electricity.

In particular, the first of these projects was recently launched at the company’s Office. The solar photoelectric power station with a capacity of 100 kW can produce 170 000 kW of electricity per year.

The large-scale work carried out on the use of renewable energy sources in the activities of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company is a confirmation of the importance of modernizing energy-intensive industries and improving energy efficiency at the company.
