The press conference dedicated to the training, teaching and retraining of personnel was held

On January 31, 2023, there was held the press conference on the topic "Work carried out on the training of engineering personnel, including teaching and retraining of personnel and plans for the future" in the Monocenter in Navoi city.

 

Head of personnel department of JSC NMMC Otabek Rakhmatov, director for public relations of JSC NMMC Kholmamat Raupov representatives of the media and journalists participated in the press conference.   

To date, the number of employees of the company is about 47 thousand people, of which more than 6 thousand are women, about 13 thousand are young people under 30 years old, more than 11 thousand are employees with higher education.

To improve the skills and retrain the personnel of the company there are 5 training centers in Navoi, Zarafshan, Uchkuduk cities and Zarkent town, in which about 13 thousand workers were trained in 2022. Of these, about 6 thousand workers were retrained and 7 thousand workers improved their skills.  

In 2022, the company sent funds in the amount of more than 12 billion soums for retraining and improving skills of personnel, teaching of employees in higher educational institutions.

Mutual cooperation has been established between the company and Navoi State Mining and Technology University, Tashkent State Technical University, Tashkent  Institute  of  Chemical  Technology  in  the field of training engineering personnel for production. Students of these universities, as well as of Zarafshan Industrial College and Uchkuduk Mining College, have an annual internship at the enterprises of the company, and then most of them are employed.

In order to create a new system of vocational training for the population and training of mid-level specialists, the Monocenter was opened in Navoi city with the support of JSC NMMC. In 2022, 1 014 people were trained in this Monocenter for the company. Of these, 920 people were hired after an internship in the units of the company.  

In 2023, in order to train and retrain personnel, it is planned to educate more than 12 thousand workers in the training centers of the company, more than 800 workers in the training centers for improving skills of the republic, 50 specialists in cooperation with international training centers.

The work carried out at the company for the training of engineering personnel, including educating and retraining of personnel, is proof that employees are the main wealth of the enterprise. As a result, the practical work carried out in this area serves to increase the efficiency of production and labor productivity, as well as to reduce the cost of production.
