A significant contribution of the transport service to production

The transport sector plays an important role in the economic development of JSC Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company. Every year, the motor transport system is updated with modern technology, increasing the efficiency of its work.

Currently, more than 9 thousand people work in this area of ​​the company. The company uses more than 3.2 thousand vehicles and mechanisms of various types.

For nine months of this year, transport workers transported more than 186 million cubic meters of rock mass. The plan in this direction was fulfilled by 103.5 percent. Compared to 2021, the growth rate is 102 percent.

In particular, high efficiency is achieved by using the capabilities of heavy vehicles. In the last five years, the composition of heavy-duty and mining equipment has been regularly updated. To date, the company has 393 heavy dump trucks with a carrying capacity of 45 tons to 220 tons.

In all car depots of the company's units, a number of works were carried out to create the necessary conditions for workers and increase their productivity. By the end of the year, it is planned to open official dealer centers in Zarafshan city to service MAN, ISUZU, UZXCMG, SINOTRUK, MAZ, KAMAZ vehicles operated at the company.

In 2022, an action plan was developed to reduce production costs and rational use of fuels and lubricants. In accordance with this plan, this year it is planned to save 12 thousand 678 tons of diesel fuel and 91 tons of gasoline. For nine months of this year, 10 thousand 447 tons of diesel fuel and 68 tons of gasoline were saved.

NMMC has developed a Roadmap for 2022-2023 to comprehensively accelerate digital transformation processes. The working documents "Automation systems for the management of the mining and transport complex" have been developed and are being implemented, provided for in the working project "Development of the Muruntau mine" (V stage).  

In order to increase labor productivity in vehicles, reduce fuel consumption, prevent excess costs, monitor vehicles, organize the effective use of passenger cars in all motor transport units, such electronic systems as "Auto CallCenter", "Transport Control", "Video Screen" and " Autoorder.

The efficiency of production activities directly depends on the introduction of new and modern technology. Thus, over the last 9 months of this year, 201 different types of cars, road-building and mining equipment, cargo and passenger vehicles, and special equipment were purchased. To date, the company has established cooperation with such domestic car manufacturers as Krantas, Uz XCMG, Uzauto trailer, Samarkand Automobile Plant, Kran va maxsus texnikalar, GM Uzbekistan.

Over the past period of the current year, 12 KOMATSU dump trucks with a carrying capacity of up to 91 tons were purchased, which are already in operation at the Auminzo-Amantoy mine of Central mining administration and the Kokpatas and Daugiztau mines of Northern mining administration. It is expected that by the end of the year their number will exceed 18.

By 2023, the company plans to completely replace the fleet of obsolete buses, and last year 110 modern buses were purchased. In particular, 25 modern Sinotruk Howo buses with all amenities were purchased in order to create the necessary conditions for a decent rest for workers and employees and the development of domestic tourism.
