The company actively participates in the regional intersectoral industrial fair

On October 20-21, 2022, there is being held a regional intersectoral industrial fair with the participation of enterprises from the mining and metallurgical, electrical, energy, chemical industries and the field of building materials in the building of the production plant of Gidro stanko servis LLC in Navoi city. The Joint-Stock Company Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company also participates in this fair.

At the opening of this fair, the chairman of the Board - General Director of JSC "NMMC" K. Sanakulov spoke about the large-scale work carried out by the company to consistently implement the localization program, produce competitive import-substituting products, increase the output of new types of products, further expand industrial cooperation.

In particular, the company has established productive cooperative relations among local producers. Products worth 405 billion soums, previously imported for the needs of the company, are now produced by 26 local manufacturing enterprises. Over the past three years, these 26 enterprises have moved from the category of small enterprises to the category of medium enterprises, and the number of work places has increased 10 times.

To date, work is being consistently carried out on the "Take in tow" mechanism, which provides for practical support for business entities. "Road maps", developed for the development of the production of imported products together with local manufacturers, are yielding results. As a result, when analyzing the economic performance of enterprises “towed” by the company, it was found that the volume of production increased by an average of 16-17 times compared to 2019, and more than 330 new types of products were released.

For nine months of this year, the company produced localized products worth more than 412 billion soums, and the growth rate compared to the corresponding period in 2021 amounted to 122.4 percent. For example, this year, Navoi machine-building plant for the first time produced an import-substituting ball mill with a volume of 163 cubic meters. This saved $3 million. By the end of the year, 167 projects plan to produce localized products worth 538 billion soums.

Every year, the cooperative relations of the company with local manufacturers are expanding. In the first nine months of 2022, the company purchased products from local manufacturers in the amount of 3.6 trillion soums as part of intersectoral cooperation. Only last year, new types of import-substituting products were mastered at the facilities of local enterprises, such as emulsifier, hydraulic oil, reactor mixer, oil filters, filter plates, bellows.

In the future, further expansion of industrial cooperation is planned. In particular, within the framework of the Republican and regional industrial fairs held this year, it is planned to conclude contracts for the purchase of products worth 2 trillion soums.
