Digital technologies in action

In order to develop the digital economy and the widespread introduction of modern information and communication technologies in all sectors and spheres, “Digital Uzbekistan 2030 strategy” is being consistently implemented in our country.

As part of this strategy, on October 13, a delegation led by the minister for the development of information technologies and communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov visited Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company Joint-Stock Company to get acquainted with projects related to the introduction of digital technologies.

There was held a presentation with the participation of delegation members on the digitalization of production at NMMC at the Office. In the presentation, the responsible managers and specialists of the company spoke in detail about the work carried out in this direction.

In the afternoon, the delegation will visit the Daugyztau mine of Northern mining administration, Hydrometallurgical plants №2, 5, Road transport department, the Muruntau mine of Central mining administration, where they will get acquainted with the use of digital technologies and production automation systems.
